Nkalime M-Pesa is VCL Financial Services’ latest product in partnership with Airvantage Lesotho that allows customers to request for loans through the M-Pesa platform.

Account holders simply dial *200#, select 4 for M-Pesa Loans, Select 1 for Nkalime, Opt in & accept the T&Cs, select 1 for Get Nkalime, enter their PIN, Request for an advance, select a loan amount then confirm the amount.

The loan request outcome is instantaneous as M-Pesa uses smart technology to create a credit profile, process the request, and make a loan offer.  When the request is successful, the money will immediately reflect in the customer’s M-Pesa account.

Nkalime M-Pesa is strictly available to customers that have verified their personal details with M-Pesa. These are standard account and premium account holders whose full names and ID details have been verified.

To upgrade your M-Pesa account from the entry level to a standard account, dial*200#, press 0 to Update Details. By updating your details, your daily and monthly account limit will automatically be increased and provided with access to Nkalime M-Pesa.
