You can borrow from as little as M10 with interest charged at 15% of your borrowed amount. The more you transact with M-Pesa and repay your loans on time, the higher your credit rating, which in turn gives you access to a higher amount each time you request for a loan.
HOW MUCH CAN YOU BORROW
Follow these simple steps:
- Dial *200#
- Select 4: M-Pesa Loans
- Select 1: Nkalime
- Select 1: Opt-in/Opt-out & accept T&Cs
- Get Nkalime
- Enter your M-Pesa Pin
- Select your advance amount based on the amount you qualify for
- Confirm Amount
- Your M-Pesa account is credited and you will receive a confirmation SMS
