Terms and Conditions
Campaign Period: 14 November 2025 to 28 February 2026
Important: By participating in this Campaign, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
- 1. Definitions
"Campaign" Means the Vodacom Summa Campaign running between 14 November 2025 and 28 February 2026.
"VodaBucks" or "VBs" Means points earned under Vodacom's loyalty program, subject to the VodaBucks Terms and Conditions.
"Daily Unlock" Means the free or paid game available via USSD (*142# or *111#).
"Super Unlock" Means the premium game available via USSD (*142# or *111#) for higher-value prizes.
"Website" Means Vodacom Lesotho's official site: www.vodacom.co.ls
"You" or "Entrant" Means the Vodacom subscriber participating in the Campaign.
- 2. General Terms
2.1 These Terms and Conditions apply to the Vodacom Summa Campaign. By participating, you agree to be bound by them.
2.2 These Terms are subject to the VodaBucks Terms and Conditions. In the event of inconsistency, the VodaBucks Terms prevail.
2.3 Vodacom may amend or cancel the Campaign or these Terms at any time. Updates will be published on the Website and social media platforms.
- 3. Eligibility
3.1 The Campaign is open to natural persons who are Vodacom subscribers.
3.2 Notwithstanding clause 3.1 above, the following persons are excluded from the Campaign:
3.2.1. Vodacom employees.
3.2.2. Immediate family members of Vodacom employees (excluding extended relatives).
3.2.3. Employees of Campaign suppliers or collaborating companies.
3.2.4. Non-citizens of Lesotho who are unlawfully present or fail to provide required documentation.
3.2.5. Customers younger than 18 are not allowed to win major prizes, including a car.
3.3 Vodacom reserves the right to disqualify entrants who breach these Terms.
- 4. How to Participate
4.1 Step 1: Dial *142# or *111#: Hybrid: option 7; Prepaid: option 1
4.2 Step 2: Select "Play" from the Daily Unlock or Super Unlock menu
4.3 If you have not opted into VodaBucks, you may play the free Daily Unlock but cannot redeem prizes, earn VodaBucks, or access Super Unlock.
4.4 Customers who play Super Unlock shall qualify for the grand prize draw.
4.5 Paid Participation Options:
4.5.1. Daily Unlock: 1 VodaBuck or M1 airtime (up to 5 per day).
4.5.2. Super Unlock: 5 VodaBucks or M4 airtime (up to 15 per day).
- 5. Prizes
5.1 Daily Unlock Prizes available through the paid Daily Unlock game include, but are not limited to:
• Free data, voice, and SMS bundles.
• Airtime vouchers.
• VodaBucks.
• Cash rewards.
• Entry into draws for cash, mid-range smartphones, and retail vouchers.
5.2 Super Unlock Prizes available through the Super Unlock game include, but are not limited to:
• Up to 15 Super Unlocks per day using VodaBucks or airtime.
• Three (3) cars, with winners choosing between Nissan, GWM, Toyota, or Tractor models, valued at M400,000.00.
• Airtime vouchers.
• Cash rewards.
• VodaBucks.
• Entry into draws for airtime, cash, shopping vouchers, high-end smartphones, and other prizes.
- 6. VodaBucks Conversion to M-Pesa
6.1 You can convert a minimum of 100 VBs in a single transaction.
6.2 You can convert up to 2000 VBs per day, depending on how many VodaBucks you have already spent that day.
6.3 You need to have an active M-Pesa account to be able to convert VodaBucks (points) into cash.
- 7. Prize Delivery
7.1 Cash prizes shall be delivered via bank transfer or M-Pesa within 30-60 working days of announcement.
7.2 Grand prizes delivered within 4 months of announcement, subject to logistical and regulatory requirements.
7.3 Winners unreachable after 30 working days shall be deemed to have forfeited their prize.
7.4 Prizes shall be non-transferable.
7.5 Substitute winners may be appointed if eligibility criteria are not met or winners are unreachable.
7.6 Winners must present valid identification to claim prizes.
- 8. Notices and Communication
8.1 Winners will be contacted via SMS and/or phone call to the MSISDN used for entry.
8.2 Winners will be announced on Vodacom's official Facebook page.
8.3 Failure to reach a winner within 30 working days results in forfeiture.
- 9. Limitation of Liability
9.1 Vodacom accepts no responsibility for errors, omissions, interruptions, defects, delays, or communication failures beyond its control.
9.2 Participation is voluntary and at the entrant's own risk.
9.3 Vodacom, its directors, employees, agents, and suppliers accept no liability for damage, loss, injury, or disappointment arising from participation or prize acceptance.
9.4 Entrants waive claims against Vodacom and its affiliates for losses or injuries, including indirect or consequential damages.
- 10. Data Protection and Publicity
10.1 Personal data will be processed in accordance with Vodacom's Privacy Management Policy.
10.2 Vodacom may use names, initials, photos, and videos for advertising purposes.
10.3 Vodacom will not disclose participant information to third parties except as required by law.
- 11. Suspension and Termination
11.1 Vodacom may suspend the Campaign for operational reasons (repairs, maintenance, upgrades).
11.2 Early termination does not affect prizes already awarded unless caused by factors beyond Vodacom's control.
11.3 Subscribers will be notified of any suspension or termination.
- 12. Dispute Resolution
12.1 Disputes must be lodged with Vodacom for amicable resolution through good-faith negotiations.
12.2 The Vodacom Consumer Protection Code applies to complaints (available at www.vodacom.co.ls).
12.3 These Terms are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Lesotho.
